GO WYO!

Since your dad played football at Woming, we decided to take you to the TCU vs WYO tailgate party we were having this Saturday. Tam has some of his old teammates in town for the game and most of them he has not seen in 3+ years. So this weekend was your chance to meet them and maybe even see your first (and I doubt your last) Wyoming game. Well Kai, since you have been on somewhat of a sleep strike (no naps and very stressful bedtime routine) your dad and I were not sure how you would handle being out at the tailgate all day. You seem to be rather short tempered when you don't get enough sleep and we were envisioning a day full of you crying and not being happy, so we decided you might need to stay with your Honey for a few hours and not attend the tailgate. We'll try again to take you in a couple of years when WYO plays TCU again, it may be awhile, but maybe by then you'll be more interested in football? So here's some pics of mom, dad and friends at the game...and of you at Honey's house in your 58 (dad's old number) jersey, looking like you didn't even miss us! Too bad WYO lost 26 to 3, I think you were the goodluck charm that Wyoming needed baby K!
love you

his lazy boy

My friend Natalie bought Kai the CUTEST little chair, it's very soft and I am thinking when he's a little older he can sit in it and watch TV with mom and dad (as stated before he LOVES TV)....well right now he can't really hold himself up too well, so you have to prop him in it, or lay him down in it. Well you can see how well he likes to be layed down in it.....really he acts this way anytime you lay him anywhere...he's way too social and hates to not be right in the middle of all the action, no matter where we are. I guess he's like his mom and dad on that.

3 months old

kai today you are 3 months old. I am trying to think of milestones you have achieved in the last month....yesterday you rolled over by yourself for the first time and also laughed out loud at your dad....you laughed for me a couple times last Friday, but we can't seem to teach you how to remember how to do it...you laugh about once a week it seems...It think you laugh and then forget how to do it for a while, because you still make those wide open mouth smiles but no sound comes out! Since day one you have been a great sleeper, but it seems in the last week or so, you have digressed a little, you seem to be a little more difficult to put to bed at night. Hopefully this is just a phase? You like your excersaucer "walker", but you still don't have quite the stomach muscles to hold yourself up too well. Your hair has turned very blonde and your eyes are still very blue. We do know FOR SURE that you do love you some TV! I am not joking, you stare at that thing in awe, and sometimes when we turn you away from it, you cry! What a couch potato you are!

WE LOVE YOU BABY K
