decorating for Christmas.

I am at work today and tam sends me some pics. Looks like the boys are hard at work.

Kai has been sitting up on his own for about a week now....he falls over after about 10 seconds, but oh well!!!

here's a couple pics from Thanksgiving also....kai had a good day, his Honey fed him his first taste of mashed potatos!!

saturday morning stupor

this is what I get to see every Sat morning, starting at about 9:30 (when College Game Day comes on) and lasting until we go to bed. Non-stop football watching. The dead silent stare at the screen, the zombie-like daze that they're in (mostly dad). Needless to say, I am VERY ready for football season to be over...so I can have Fri, Sat, Mon and Tuesdays back! tam says I should just try and get into it, that way I wont be miserable when our home is taken over by ESPN. I actually like college football, probably more than most women in fact...but I have been ruined by the 2006 season, and the shear overload that I have been subjected to. Trust me, I know this is something that I'll have to get used to...its not going to go away, in fact, I think the older Kai gets, the more football I'll be watching.....I need a serious hobby.

he's an intellectual

mom's been home from work the last 2 days (very sick!) and we're starting to get a little bored around the house. kai was reading the newspaper with dad today, checking out some real estate.

kai's been pretty laid back today, but that may not last too long, he sounds congested, he's probably caught mom's cold.

well at least we know if Kai has to get glasses one day, he'll still be as cute as a bug!

Fabulous Four

Kai has reached yet another milestone, he celebrated his four month b-day by enjoying a warm bowl of rice cereal. I guess it is no surprise(given his dad) that he has had no problem adjusting to food. Kai has really enjoyed his first months with his dad, both of us think there is nothing funnier than making fake fart noises with our mouths. Another favorite activity is his bath, he goes nuts as soon as he gets in and splashes water everywhere. I almost forgot, his favorite thing of all is watching football, as I write Kai and I are watching Monday night football pregame. Gotta Go.

love you kai

Chicken Little

Well kai your 1st Halloween went good! Although you're still too small to get it and can't really trick or treat, mom and dad sure had a good time dressing you up and laughing at you. Since you are too little to go door to door, we went with your cousins jude and joss to "Hallelujah-Ween" at their church. There were lots of bounce houses, games and even a petting zoo..not that you really noticed any of it. You just sat there and looked cute in your chicken suit. You spit up pretty bad one time and your dad and I were cracking up because you looked like a chicken with matted fur! Jude and Joss were really cute in their costumes too (captain feathersword and an incredible). Dad and I will more than likely be eating all the candy you got for halloween seeing as how you have no teeth. We have given you little tastes of melted chocolate before and needless to say you really enjoyed it. We look forward to next year when you will at least be walking and can get into it a little more. Your dad and I are already thinking of ideas on what you can dress up as in 2007, we love to find ways to make fun of you.
happy Halloween Kai
