still camera-less

so i'll post a pic of kai that my aunt and uncle took....he's sitting by their tree..... kai's been a little under the weather...he was really fussy (not like him) Wed night and all day Wed.....then Thursday morning he was pulling on both his ears and crying...tam took him to the Dr and sure enough, double ear infection! Poor guy, he's on antibiotics now though, so I hope he feels better soon....i hate seeing him feel bad....

kai's first look at Santa

Well I think its safe to say kai still has no clue who santa is....last night we stood in line for about an hour and waited to let Kai sit on Santa's lap....once we finally got to the front of the line, Kai was getting pretty fussy and I was worried we were not going to be able to get a good picture. Once we sat Kai in Santa's lap, he was all smiles though...not at Santa, he was smiling at mom and dad because we were standing behind the camara! He did kind of look up at Santa and laugh though, it was pretty cute. Next year Kai will be a year and a half old, we'll try and again and maybe he'll be able to say a few words to Santa next year? I will try to scan the pic we have of Kai and Santa, and upload with this post...it's pretty cute, dad says he looks exacty like his unlce tye!

Mean people suck

Well the blog will be picture-less for a while. while at at friends rehearsal dinner on Friday, our camera was stolen out of our car, presumably by the valet parking people? when we handed over the keys to the valet the camera was on the center console...when we realized we had forgotten it (about 10 min later) tam went out to the car to get it...it was gone.....Don't think we'll see it again...so I suppose we'll post stories, but no picks

5 months and a tree

Kai turned 5 months old on Wed!! where oh where have the last 5 months gone! they have really flown by, and I ask myself, where has our tiny baby gone...kai is sitting up, rolling over both direction, eating in his high chair, talking (babbling) non stop and laughing more and more. I can't believe how big and cute he has gotten! It won't be long and he'll be crawling, then our lives will be even more hectic, as I fear he'll be into everything. This time last year I was only 9 or 10 weeks pregnant, and I remember thinking, "next year we'll have a baby on Christmas!" We didn't even know if it would be a girl or boy..sometimes it seems like that was about a week ago, some days it feels like that was 10 years ago...We have so much to be thankful for this year, so many blessing we can't even count. Our Lord gave his only son for us, and now that I have a son, that sacrifice seems even more unbelievable to me. His sacrifice is our biggest blessing by far..
