kai looks like he's just come back from a vacation in Mexico! oh but if only.....mom and dad went for 3 days and brought him back some festive gear, doesn't he look cute!!! the maracas only lasted about 24 hours until one was broken on the floor...not suprising, kai plays very rough!

Our Cobra Kai turns one!!

Well one year ago, on 7/6/2006 our sweet little boy was born. I don't think we quite knew what we were in for back then (well, does anyone really)? The last year has been the most special of our lives. Little Kai makes us laugh everyday and continues to surprise us with how smart and playful he is! It seems everyday he's learning and doing something new.

Sat was Kai's 1st bday party, and for the first time in weeks, it was sunny ALL day. We played in the pool for a few hours, had a pinata, ate pizza, opened presents and ate cake and ice cream. I think Kai had a lot of fun! Kai's abey and aunt taya made him an AWESOME "Cobra Kai Never Dies" (ya know from The Karate Kid) cake.....seriously it was crazy good!

what a great year it has been baby kai. mom and dad love you more than you'll ever know. we know you'll not remember any of this 1st year of your life, and it really bums us out. i guess we'll just have to tell you how fun and crazy it was!

well despite having nothing but rain the last, oh i dont know, TWO FREAKIN WEEKS, we still managed to get in the pool on Sunday. It's not even right that we've only gone swimming like 3 times this summer, kai is really missing out. While I love the rain and i def love the cooler temps that it brings, occasional sun would be nice, at least on the weekends!
