Evil Knievel

well apparently our son cannot play with any of his toys the way they were intended. he has to turn everything into a stunt, trick or death defying obstacle. we have had more bumps and bruises the last week than i can count. i suppose this is all part of being a parent (esp to a boy) and we'll get used to his antics. but boy is kai a BOY....he is so rough and abrasive, but we would not want him to be any different! he keeps us on our toes and makes us laugh EVERY day. we'll take the trips to the ER, broken bones and all the other stuff that comes with our wild Kai....bc oh how we love him

here's Kai sanding on his toy horse (that he is supposed to SIT on). He stands up, lets go of the handles and yells at me and tam to make sure we're watching him.

kai the interior decorator

we drug out the lights, ornaments, and tree this weekend and kai was very intrigued. he kept walking over to the tree every 5-10 min and pointing at it, like "what is that"..and it was like he was in disbelief that it was still there each time he would walk around the corner...it was really pretty funny. we especially liked the special ornament that he personally placed on the bottom corner of the tree, a bunched up Kleenex. it fit in nicely with the black and white theme we did this year.

it was really cool though to think about how much has changed in a year. this time last year kai could only sit and watch us put up the tree and decorate..this year he was all up in our business every step of the way. and we would not have it any other way :)
