18 months old and way too cool

kai turned 18 months old today, and I really can't believe it...while sometimes it seems not that long ago, most the time it seems like he has been with us forever! I can barely remember life without kai, he made that much of an impact on our lives!! I suppose that's what children do :)

in the last few moths, kai has made GREAT strides in his talking....he will now attempt to repeat just about any word we ask him to say. he can say a whole slew of words, most are one syllable, some are 2 or 3. The funniest things he says are Uncle Tye (sounds like Uh Uh Ta)....and Uncle Bones (my bro's nickname), that sounds like (Uh Uh Bo)....we have to spell some words now too because if kai hears us talking about certain things (like cookies, bath, The Wiggles) he will sometimes throw a fit until he gets these things...i think we are fast approaching the Terrible Twos.

Kai understands most basic commands and really sometimes it surprises me that he comprehends so much of what we say to him. he is, for the most part, a very happy and playful child. kai loves, loves, loves balls and to play outside. really he's just a very active and boisterous little boy all around. he is ALWAYS on the go and is a pretty strong and aggressive boy.
