3's Company
This is the story of Tam, Christy, Kai and Jaymes.
sunday paper on the toilet
Yes folks, Kai went "pee pee" on the potty twice last Friday. I am not getting my hopes up though, after all he's only 20 months old. It is a good sign I think, but I am not going to expect too much as far as getting him trained right now. Tam and I did try and get him to go again on Sat and Sun, but he was not really into it. As you can see, he was willing to read a book on the toilet, but not actually go to the bathroom. Like many things that Kai does, Tam and I took this as an opportunity to point and laugh at him :)
Our Easter Boy
I think the best part of Easter was the Easter Hair that Kai woke up with, I swear this child's hair is getting more unruly by the day. I know what you are thinking, CUT HIS HAIR, well I can't, his father has forbid me.
Kai loved all the festivities of Easter, he hunted eggs and ate some candy, but I am not sure he totally understood the concept of the egg "hunt". He just kinda followed me around and was very easily distracted by sticks and rocks (as usual). But it's okay he looked cute and mom and dad enjoyed some of his candy!
basketball in the driveway
again, sorry for the lack of blogging lately..now that our house is back on the market I am spending 90% of my free time making sure the house is somewhat clean and ready to show, in case some potential buyer decides that they want to see it.....to later tell us, "we don't really want a house with a pool".....ok.whatever. Info I could have used BEFORE I spit shined the place. The remaining 10% of my free time is trying to get in at least 7 hours of sleep a night.
anywho, amidst all the house chaos, we're trying to make sure we spend time with kai everyday doing fun stuff and playing together as a family....preferably outside, which is always weather permitting here in texas.
tonight we played some basketball in the driveway before dinner...kai's a natural i tell ya :)
