case of the sweet tooth

well, kai seems to enjoy a good cookie, piece of cake, scoop of ice cream (the list goes on and on) as much as his mom, which is not necessarily a good thing....some would say my sweet tooth is somewhat of a problem, let's hope kai's is not so severe. since it became warm out, we've introduced kai to popsicles, or "pa a goon" as he calls is (who knows?). the first few popsicles he had, he refused to eat, he just held on to them....i had to force a few in his mouth for him to know what he was missing, and well, he has not looked back once. so far he has liked all kinds of popsicles.....these pics are from when he had a "Jello Pudding Pop" few nights ago...we should have taken him outside, we normally do, this particular night we just got lazy and were trying to keep him happy long enough for us to eat dinner!

"Two old"

For weeks we've been trying to teach Kai how old he was going to be on his birthday, but all he will repeat is "two old", leaving out the "years". We had kai's party at Bedford Splash and he's been excited about going for weeks. when i woke him up from his nap on Saturday and asked him if he was ready for his party he whispered "water park"....Bedford Splash was ridiculosly crowded so we're really did get to play with cousins and friends much, I couldn't see through the mass of people to see where everyone was most the time. But Kai had a good time. Abby made his AWESOME Elmo cake, not only was it an exact replica of Elmo, but it was SO SO GOOD. And I am a very tough cake critic. Kai was very bashful when we sang happy birthday to him, but when tam and i sing it to him at home, he just smiles and loves the attention.

HAPPY 2ND BIRTHDAY LITTLE KAI, MOM AND DAD LOVE YOU VERY MUCH!
